Supabase

Add a database, user accounts and file storage to your app.

Official Supabase docs

What is Supabase?

Supabase is your app’s backend: the place where its data, user accounts and files live. Every serious app needs one. Instead of building it by hand, you connect Supabase once and Zzz takes care of the rest.

You do not need to know anything about databases. You describe what your app should do, and Zzz sets Supabase up for you.

What it unlocks in Zzz

  • Database: your app can save and read data: profiles, lists, scores, orders, anything. Ask Zzz for a feature like "let users save their favorites" and it creates the right tables automatically.
  • User accounts: sign up, log in, log out. Zzz adds complete, secure authentication screens to your app with a single prompt.
  • File storage: profile photos, images, documents. Your users can upload files and your app serves them back.
  • Server logic: some things must run on a server, like sending a notification or talking to another service. Zzz writes and deploys that code to Supabase for you.
  • Live updates: build chats, feeds or leaderboards that refresh instantly for everyone.

Connect Supabase to Zzz

  1. Open your project in Zzz, then open Connections and pick Supabase.
  2. Click Connect Supabase. A Supabase window opens.
  3. Sign in, or create a free account: the free plan is more than enough to start.
  4. Authorize Zzz. You come right back, connected.

That’s it. From now on, just ask for features in the chat ("add accounts", "save workouts", "let users upload a photo") and Zzz wires them to Supabase.

Good to know

  • One Supabase account can host several projects: Zzz creates or picks the right project per app.
  • Your data belongs to you. You can open the Supabase dashboard anytime to see it.
  • The free plan covers most apps while you build. You only upgrade when your app grows.
