What is Google AI?

Google AI gives you the Gemini models: fast, multimodal AI that understands text, images, audio and video. Plug your Google AI key into Zzz and your app gets those abilities.

What it unlocks in Zzz

  • Multimodal AI: one model that reads text, looks at photos and listens to audio. Great for "scan this and tell me" features.
  • Fast and affordable: the Flash models answer quickly at a very low cost, ideal for features used many times a day.
  • Generous free tier: start building AI features without paying anything.
  • Long context: Gemini can process very large documents and conversations.

Get your API key

  1. Open aistudio.google.com and sign in with your Google account.
  2. Click Get API key.
  3. Create a key and copy it.

That’s all: Google AI Studio has a free tier, no billing setup needed to start.

Connect it to Zzz

  1. In Zzz, open Connections, pick Google AI, then click Add connection.
  2. Paste your key and validate.
  3. Ask for your feature in the chat: "let users photograph a meal and get its calories". Zzz wires Gemini into your app.

Good to know

  • Your key is stored encrypted and never exposed in your app’s code.
  • The free tier has daily limits; upgrade in Google AI Studio when your app takes off.
