Design styles

Zzz doesn’t generate generic screens. It ships with eight design DNAs, each modeled on apps that top the App Store. Mention one in your prompt and your whole app follows it: colors, typography, shapes, components.

The eight styles

• Playful: bright colors, chunky rounded buttons, mascot energy. Think Duolingo or Streaks. Great for learning, habits, kids.
• Clean: white, airy, big numbers, subtle grays. Think Cal AI. Great for trackers, health, finance.
• Glassy: dark background, frosted glass panels, soft glow. Think Opal. Great for focus, wellness, premium tools.
• Bold and Visual: images first, masonry grids, oversized titles. Think Pinterest. Great for content, inspiration, shopping.
• Dark and Editorial: pure dark, huge numerals, sharp contrast. Think Spotify or Umax. Great for stats, music, coaching.
• Soft and Calming: warm pastels, rounded everything, gentle gradients. Think Headspace. Great for meditation, sleep, journaling.
• Minimal: almost nothing on screen, perfect typography, lots of air. Think Stoic. Great for writing, focus, to-dos.
• Brutalist: dense, raw, data-heavy, newspaper energy. Think Bloomberg or the Financial Times. Great for markets, news, dashboards.

How to pick a style

Just say it in your prompt, with the style name or a few descriptive words:

A meditation app, soft and calming, pastel colors, rounded cards.

A crypto dashboard, brutalist, dense tables, Bloomberg vibes.

Words like "glass", "frosted" or "blur" summon Glassy; "pastel" and "calming" summon Soft; "dense" and "editorial" pull toward Brutalist or Dark.

Mixing and adjusting

The style sets the foundation, then you refine in the chat:

• "Keep the style but switch the accent color to coral."
• "Make the onboarding more playful than the rest of the app."

• If you don’t pick a style, Zzz reads your idea and chooses the DNA that fits it best.
• A style is a starting point, not a prison: every color, font and shape stays adjustable.
