What is Anthropic?

Anthropic makes Claude, the family of AI models known for careful, nuanced and reliable answers. Plug your Anthropic API key into Zzz and your app can use Claude for chat, writing and analysis.

What it unlocks in Zzz

  • AI assistant: a conversational helper in your app, great at long, thoughtful answers.
  • Long documents: Claude reads very long texts. Summarize contracts, reports or entire books inside your app.
  • Vision: understand images and screenshots your users share.
  • Safe by design: Claude is built to be helpful and harmless, a good fit for consumer apps.

Get your API key

  1. Open console.anthropic.com and sign in (or create an account).
  2. Open API keys in the settings.
  3. Click Create key and give it a name, like "Zzz".
  4. Copy the key right away: it is shown only once.

The API is billed by usage; add a small credit in Billing to get started.

Connect it to Zzz

  1. In Zzz, open Connections, pick Anthropic, then click Add connection.
  2. Paste your key and validate.
  3. Ask for your feature in the chat: "add a journaling assistant that reflects on my entries". Zzz wires Claude into your app.

Good to know

  • Your key is stored encrypted and never exposed in your app’s code.
  • Different Claude models trade speed for depth; Zzz picks a sensible default for your feature.
